11/21/2023 0 Comments Sample warblade build 3.5![]() You won't have a huge Wisdom synergy toward Survival, but you'll at least have the option. That'll really get you some use out of Scent. The original 'Bardic Badass' build by Janus Jones was a Bard 3/Warblade 17, although the traditional Bardblade is more commonly suggested as Bard 4/Warblade 16 (see the example in the Sample Builds section). Not much point in having BOTH Punishing Stance and Blood in the Water, so Hunter's Sense makes a perfect utility backup.Īnd actually, since you don't have a Ranger, you could go human, use that bonus feat for Track, and Warblades get Survival as a class skill. Thus, Punishing Stance will probably result in the most damage out of all of the 1st level stances. Using a Glaive as a primary weapon, he'll only crit on a 20 which makes Blood not so useful. Either move toward the foe and strike them, or strike them and then tumble away (thus denying a full attack) as the circumstances dictate. ![]() I build this as primarily a move + strike type fighter. Punishing Stance could be swapped out for Leading the Charge, if you plan to charge more often than not (but then you'd probably want more charging feats like Shocktrooper). As a utility stance, Hunter's Sense is about the most useful as you increase in levels. Of all the 1st level stances, its a good idea to have one combat stance and one utility stance. ![]() PMC doesn't work against hidden foes, but Scent should still help you find them (barring Darkstalker). Scent allows you to locate the creature, move toward it, and if you get to within 5', pinpoint it (allowing PMC to come into play). Pierce Magical Concealment allows you to avoid miss chances generated by magic (such as invisibility), but it doesn't allow you to pin-point the source. Well, the OP mentioned that this would be at level 6, and probably not going much higher (thus lacking many of the common charger abilities). ![]()
